Q:  Who are the suppliers CUB works with?
A: CUB® is an independent energy management broker. Established since 1994 we have built a 17 year relationship with many of the top energy suppliers in the UK. Below are a few of the many energy suppliers we work with.





Q: Why use Commercial Utility Brokers (UK) Ltd?

All clients of CUB® are treated as premier clients. Our simple process will give you peace of mind and enable you to trust us to deliver your expectations.

Q: Who will manage my account?

A: CUB® will provide a personal service, tailored to your individual requirements and will ensure your portfolio is managed by our award winning staff to the highest standards. As soon as you appoint CUB® we will assign you an Internal Account Manager who will handle your portfolio and answer any queries you may have.  We will also let you know which of our directors is responsible for overseeing the handling of your account, to ensure that our service offering is always that one-step ahead.


Q  Will CUB charge me a fee?
A: On successful completion of CUB® services, CUB® will receive commission directly from the energy supplier. CUB® is happy to confirm the value of any commission payments received from a supplier in connection with your contract. If you prefer we can work on a fixed fee basis.

Q What software does CUB use to manage my account?
A: CUB® specialise in updating and coordinating our software databases. Once a procurement strategy is implemented CUB® will ensure systems are tailored to meet your requirements. Whether you choose a fixed or flexible contract we will provide swift and efficient reporting tools and live market prices to assist with your decision.

Q Why am I required to sign a Letter of Authorisation?
A: CUB® services are an outsourced service tailored towards business energy requirements. In order to tender on your behalf CUB® is obliged to supply a letter of authority to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. The letter of authority is not a binding contract, it authorises CUB® to obtain details of your account, utility usage and/or supply point data directly from current Suppliers, Transco or equivalent public gas transporters or accredited electricity data collection agencies or telecommunications companies. 

Q: How long does the process take?
A: Upon receipt of authorisation, CUB® will request prices from each energy supplier .Most suppliers ask for a minimum of five working days in order to provide a full analysis and quotation. Only a few energy suppliers can quote the same day or the next working day.
